No back door entry unless Special Measures are granted. Screens are available. Witness will have to pass the defendant as access to the witness suite is through the main waiting area unless back door entrance granted. Usually advise witnesses to come for 9 a.m. so we can get them into The Suite before the defendants, his / her family and friends arrive. If witnesses need a cigarette they will have to walk through the main foyer to the front entrance. There is disabled access. A Tea Bar is open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon only serves drinks and toast.

There is a large secure Witness Suite for prosecution witnesses, defence witnesses and a family room. All rooms have TV/DVD, reading material and children’s games. There are toilets and baby changing facilities within the Witness Suite. There is tea/coffee available. The main reception is used by all court users. Back door entrance is available with prior notice to Witness Service. There is disabled access to all courts and Witness Suite. Both courts have facilities for video link, live link and screens. There are refreshments available from vending machines in the main public area.

This court has a self contained witness suite with 2 video link rooms, a designated court with permanent screens and side door entrance for witnesses with special measures. The suite also contains toilet facilities and if witnesses want to smoke they can do so by access to the side door with Witness Service supervision. There is a cafe in the building that serves light snacks (bacon butties etc) which is open 9.30am till 2 p.m. This is accessed through the main foyer. Parking is to the front of the building and is pay and display, an all day ticket at a cost of £3 is recommended when attending court. There is full disabled access at Wrexham with all courts, toilets, baby changing facilities and the witness suite on one level, all door ways are wheel chair friendly.
